For the last couple of Skype sessions, we’ve used an online dice roller. I’m posting instructions here for easy reference so that I don’t have to dig up the information at the start of a game.
Instructions:
- Navigate to http://rolz.org/.
- Select “Dice Room” from the upper right corner.
- From the web-based dice room screen, enter your nickname and select “Tempora” as the room name.
- Click “Join”, and you should be in.
Now you should be able to type “1d20” or “1d6+2” or “4d8” or whatever in the entry bar up top and click “roll!”.
We’ll use the dice roller for most situations. In some cases, however, I may wish to keep the result of a dice roll secret. (Or I might just forget and roll my own dice anyways.)
