About
The Math Success Program (MSP) is a new support service for UCLA undergraduates. Math counselors guide students in 1-on-1 sessions to develop the confidence and skills necessary to apply math inside and outside of the classroom.
All services are free of charge.
We offer support for: Math 30, Calc 3, Math 31A/AL/B, MATH 32A/B, MATH 33A/B, PIC 10A/B, PIC 16A, Chem 20A/AL, MATH 170E/S, Physics (for LifeSci) and more!
Our Services Include:
-1-on-1 sessions (by appointment only)
-Drop-Ins (see Instagram)
-Workshops
Cancellation policy: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your session, the appointment will be cancelled.
Booking policy: You can book at most one session with each counselor per week. (i.e. you cannot book more than one session with the same counselor in one week). This is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to access our services.

MSP has honestly been so helpful for me in 31A. I've worked with Asmi twice, and both times she has really worked to understand what I am struggling with and explain the concepts in a way that finally makes sense to me. And it's SO nice that it's free!!

I like the one-on-one, non-stressful nature of these tutoring sessions, and I feel better prepared for my math classes after attending and asking questions.

Today was my first appointment with the program and I’m glad to say I made it! I actually understood how to find limits. For the first time I actually understood the reasoning behind math without feeling confused at a certain pace. The only negative thing I will say is that there is a possibility this program will be cut due to funding but I wish it didn’t so more students can attend!
