Creating an Authentic Brand

I pride myself in using creative gifts and talents to spread love through unique visual that symbolize African American experiences. Art has always been a passion that I have indulged in from a very early age. I curated an art brand that consists of a plethora of products that are made to fulfill personal, home and business needs. Each product features handcrafted illustrations that have a unique cartoon like style, each accentuated with bold, bright colors and expressions of cultural pride. Our goal is to create a path of personal connection and representation from customer to product. Each item serving the a multitude of purposes whether it be the opportunity to share a heartfelt message inside one of our signature cards, or implementing a print from an original illustration as part of a creative exhibit of works to enhance your personal space using one of our social prints or adding a custom accessories to a collection of items as a gift for a loved one or friend. No matter your intention, we guarantee that our products will be one that you can cherish for years to come!

A story of Inspiration

I became an entrepreneur by default. When I was a teenager I enjoyed making graffiti designs and cartoon characters on my friends clothing. Long ago, I received a request to create a unique birthday invitation for a friend to celebrate her sons upcoming birthday. I recall drawing each invitation, one after the next by hand , twenty in total. Although the process was long, I was excited as my friend expressed extreme pleasure regarding the final outcome. I worked relentlessly for years trying to navigate and confirm the nature of my work as an official business. Fear along with endless trials and tribulations created a variety of setbacks resulting in feelings of uncertainty, insecurity and hopelessness. My late grandmother and father have always been my biggest inspiration. I remember from a very young age, the lessons from my grandmother, as I was encouraged to always push through difficult days. My father was a hard worker who never complained and endured hardships and sacrificed to see his family happy. Even on my worst of days, I knew that even if there was failure, quitting was not an option. The end result when falling down, was to brush yourself off, stand tall and hold your head high against the strong winds that life brings against you.

Over the past two years we have increased our customer support. Social media as well as in person pop up and other community shopping events have connected our products to amazing people. We continue to strive to meet the needs of those who seek unique art products. My brand may have been created by default, but it is my belief that god has set me on earth with intention, to fulfill a task bigger than I imagined. I will continue to use my gifts and talents to meet the needs of future customers, those who seek an authentic experience and products that they can connect to for years to come.
