Shortly after arriving in the Sierra Nevada foothills in October 2016, it became abundantly clear that inspiration tumbles from the hill sides, glints off the snowy peaks, and cascades down the powerful rivers-and to receive this inspiration, all one has to do is open themselves.
It has been many years, and I’ve grown through so many variations of self since then. From Northern California to the east San Francisco Bay, Rocky Mountain West to the California Central Valley, I’ve tried to never stray far from this soft, open heart of mine. Heartbreaks and breakdowns, soul openings and dark nights, my wish is to bear it with honesty.
So with my arms outspread and my mind wide open, I have received juicy creative fuel that pulses within me. And here, in this blog space, is where I will let it gush from my heart and mind and fingertips.
Step into my stories, theories and reflections, if you like. All the photos and art I post are original, unless otherwise credited. If you’d like to use any of it, or would like me to create something for you, please ask.
Please join me in celebrating the beauty and the bounty this life has to offer, and don’t forget we are traveling on native land. Be well, dear ones.
