Miroslav Matejovsky
Welcome to my personal website, where I share insights and explorations on programming, software architecture, and beyond. While there is some self-promotion here, my primary goal is to document ideas, refine thinking, and provide resources for those interested in similar topics.
Introverted Rebel
Section titled “Introverted Rebel”I challenge the status quo to drive improvement and positive change.
Entropy and time push us toward transformation—why not steer that change toward something better?
Latent Artist
Section titled “Latent Artist”Art exists in many forms, not just traditional mediums. For me, coding is art—a fusion of creativity and logic. Every aspect of life can be approached with an artistic mindset, from problem-solving to communication.
Practicing Stoic
Section titled “Practicing Stoic”Stoicism teaches focus on what we can control and acceptance of what we cannot. It helps me navigate complexity with clarity and resilience. I choose which problems to tackle and which to release, aiming for tranquility and effectiveness.
What I Do
Section titled “What I Do”I specialize in solving complex problems—technical, organizational, and strategic.
Core Principles
Section titled “Core Principles”- Technical challenges are my strength, but real issues often extend beyond technology.
- I prioritize understanding context and uncovering root causes rather than addressing surface symptoms.
- Asking the right questions is more valuable than quick answers—it leads to clarity and actionable insight.
Approach
Section titled “Approach”I design solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
Technology is a tool; outcomes define success.
The most critical steps include:
- Identifying the real problem
- Understanding the environment
- Selecting strategies and technologies that fit
This requires close collaboration with stakeholders and disciplined questioning to transform uncertainty into direction.
Leadership
Section titled “Leadership”Leadership is more than decision-making—it’s about communication and influence.
I apply the distinction between illocutionary acts
(what is said and intended) and perlocutionary acts (the effect those words have).
Effective leadership means aligning intent with impact: ensuring that what we say produces the desired outcome without ambiguity or unintended consequences. This principle shapes how I lead teams and engage stakeholders—clarity of intent, precision of language, and awareness of ripple effects. It also influences architecture decisions: communication drives alignment, and alignment drives successful delivery.
Experience Highlights
Section titled “Experience Highlights”- Application Platforms: .NET, JVM, Go — delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions
- Architectures: Cloud-native systems, distributed architectures, microservices, and modernization of legacy applications
- Specialized Solutions:
- Windows Services and WPF for enterprise-grade desktop applications
