Rienna Skelton awarded Best Female Lifter at Canadian Junior Championships

We would like to congratulate Rienna Skelton on winning the gold medal in the 64kg category at the 2020 Canadian Junior Championships. Rienna was also awarded best female lifter of the competition.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the athletes who represented Manitoba at the event:

  • Courtney Skelton – 6th place (55kg)
  • Annika Hildebrand – 7th place (55kg)
  • Gillian Martens – 9th place (71kg)
  • Brett Landreville – 5th place (61kg)
  • Travis Lindsay – 6th place (67kg)

Best of luck to all the athletes who will be representing Manitoba at the 2020 Canadian Junior Weightlifting Championships on Saturday, January 18, in Edmonton!

The event will be broadcast live on the Alberta Weightlifting Association’s YouTube Channel.

Tune in at the following times to cheer on Team Manitoba (all times in MST):

  • 8:00 am: Courtney Skelton (Southwest Strength) and Annika Hildebrand (CrossFit Rocked)
  • 10:00 am: Brett Landreville (Starke Weightlifting) and Travis Lindsay (CrossFit Rocked)
  • 12:00 pm: Rienna Skelton (Southwest Strength)
  • 2:45 pm: Zachary Louttit (Southwest Strength) and Carthy Caswell (CrossFit Rocked)
  • 5:15 pm: Gillian Martens (Starke Weightlifting)

2020 La Coupe du Voyageur Championship

mazurThe Hercules Weightlifting Club will be hosting La Coupe du Voyageur Championship on Sunday, February 9 at Prairie CrossFit (#3-1249 Clarence Ave, Winnipeg).

Registration deadline is Saturday, February 1.
