The MWA is organizing a Competition Introduction course. This course is for any coach interested in taking athletes to provincial level competitions for Olympic Weightlifting. The course will run over 3 days.
After completion of this course, candidates will receive an NCCP number and will be listed in the Locker as “In Training”.
A coach will achieve Trained status on their transcript after attending all of the workshops below.
Multi-sport
Three (3) multi-sport modules, which are available in all provinces and territories:
- Make Ethical Decisions,
- Planning a Practice
- Nutrition
Weightlifting
The “Competition Introduction – Weightlifting” workshop, which contains three modules:
- Analyze Performance,
- Provide Support to Athletes in Training, and
- Support the Competitive Experience
The facilitator for this course will be: François Gravelle

REGISTRATION IS NOT CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID IN FULL. REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE UNLESS THE MWA CANCELS THE COURSE DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION NUMBERS. A MINIMUM OF 8 PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO RUN THE COURSE.
