YSIGIM is a Polish funeral doom metal band formed in the early 1990s in Warsaw, regarded as an underground pioneer of the genre. After decades of silence, the band returned with renewed force.
The CD Dead God Lies reconnects their original darkness with new material. In 2025, YSIGIM released three singles, continuing their bleak, ritualistic vision. A double-CD reedition of the cult debut Ain Soph Or reaffirms the band’s legacy of slow, oppressive, uncompromising doom.
