Young Abuse Support | 65 followers on LinkedIn. A survivor-led charity that provides training on young partner abuse to safeguarding staff across UK secondary schools | Young Abuse Support, a survivor-led campaign, has created a training manual for counsellors and/or designated safeguarding staff in secondary schools and higher education. This guide will provide counsellors and/or staff members with the knowledge needed to help those who suffer from partner abuse as teenagers and young adults. However, ‘YAS to Safe Relationships’ could not have happened without the survivors of young partner abuse, compassionate and informed volunteers, and practising counsellors who all helped write and shape the manual.

Share your story
Share your story
Early statistics in the UK show how prevalent abuse is in young relationships. We'd love for you to share your story as a survivor of, or someone who has supported a survivor of emotional, sexual or physical abuse from an intimate partner. We may publish parts of the story in quotes on our social media platforms. These stories will be posted anonymously, and we would advise you to leave out names or any identifying descriptions of the people in your stories. We may also use your story to inform parts of our research and campaigning. We understand that sharing your story can be both cathartic and triggering, so please only share if you are in a good place to do so. Directions to external support can be found in our Linktree.
