The Wild Bird Trust was established as part of The Cape Parrot Project formed in 2009 by Dr Steve Boyes out of a small village Hogsback, Eastern Cape province. The aim of the project is to conserve the nationally endangered Cape Parrot through research and reforestation efforts, with community involvement being viewed as an integral part of our future success.
