I am so pleased to have found Dr. Prabakar. She really takes the time to listen and help address all my issues. Scheduling is always easy and the office is very comfortable and inviting. I highly reccommend.

11/2025 - Updating this review to add that after my most recent visit I continue to find Dr. Prabakar professional, warm, and an active listener. Her staff are equally attentive and kind. 4/2025 - I recently had a health issue that required a procedure in the OR. Dr. Prabakar was very clear about the issue and its implications, and presented various options for addressing it. The particular procedure was one that made me extremely anxious. With Dr. Prabakar's help I made the choices that felt best. The experience was made so much easier with the clear communication from Dr. Prabakar as well as her demonstrated kindness and compassion on top of professional competence. The staff at the hospital all knew Dr. Prabakar and spoke highly of her. What I had been expecting to be a traumatic experience was as smooth as it possibly could have been, and I am very grateful. Additionally, Caroline and other members of Lamorinda Gynecology and Surgery staff have also been extraordinarily kind as well as very transparent about the billing process, and scheduling has been quite easy. I highly recommend Lamorinda G & S for top notch care.

Straight up, Dr. Prabakar is awesome. She is the best gynecologist I have ever had. Fantastic bedside manner. She listens to her patients and takes you seriously. She doesn’t dismiss or minimize your symptoms. She spent a good 20 minutes talking to me before my exam (with me fully clothed during our conversation). Highly highly recommend.
