Only qualifying academic registered students who have been placed at South Point and have successfully completed their residence billing/registration process shall be accommodated for. 

No walk-ins are permitted.

Kindly please direct all placement enquiries and requests to the CPUT Housing Office (contact details included in the FAQ document supplied below). Find out more about your residence status via CPUT SOS Portal. 

Note that the following particulars will be required upon check-in:
- 2026 CPUT Proof of Academic Registration.
- 2026 CPUT Proof of Residence Registration.

Kindly note, lost keys and replacement cards are charged for. This is an upfront-payment required before the installation/activation or replacement of the key/card can be made.

The charges for these items are as follows:
Replacement laundry cards: R50.
Access cards (Orchard): R150.
Lost Key:
- Single Room: R450
- Double Room: R650
- Triple-Sharing: R850

Please make the deposit via EFT or directly at the bank and present our staff at the Key Shop with the proof of payment. No cash payments allowed.

Kindly use the correct banking details and reference when making payment.
