I was raised on unceded Mi’kmaq territory of Epekwitk (also known as PEI). I am a mother to three littles under 8 yrs old, work full-time with the homeless population on PEI. I am a certified trauma-informed Breathwork Practitioner and completing my level 1 & 2 Reiki practitioner training by end of March. I used to brag about excelling in chaos, that belief has shifted over the past few years and has brought me to the present moment where I truly believe I am aligning with my soul purpose. I am an empath at heart, a deep feeler, and someone whose nervous system is under a state of hypervigilance. As a mama, I wanted to do ANYTHING I could to "fix" myself and make sure that I would not unconsciously pass on my trauma imprints to my children. Slowly, I am learning, that no one needs to be "fixed". What we need is safe connection, outlets to process our experiences, and a comforting hand to witness those experiences. Together, we can unlearn to remember who we truly are <3
