YOUR COMMITTEE TEAM 23/24

Hello, I'm Joe, a BSc Visual Effects Student at Confetti NTU and the **Confetti Officer for the 23/24 term at NTSU**. It's my pleasure to invite you to our vibrant new society, where a world of experiences awaits, from thrilling travels to dynamic events (think axe throwing and paintball—let's keep that between us, the VP doesn't need to know).

Fun facts about me

- I am Profoundly Deaf with a Cochlear Implant, and be amazed that I will lipread you from one end of Rock City to the other…
- I am a Challenge Leader for the Choose A Challenge for NTU Morocco High Atlas Mountains Trek.
- I love to do Paintballing in my own time.
- I am a founding member of the Society.
- I am currently doing the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Meningitis Research Foundation.

I am Estranged Student with Some Care Experience background.

PRESIDENT - JOE N

My name is Dempsey, surname to part of my family that doesn't share my same ethics lol. I'm a university student, currently studying a bachelors of science in civil engineering with aims on bridging to a masters study.
This society will help me develop the care experienced space for the betterment of young people that were equally less fortunate.

To list some fun facts:

- I express myself in both language of fist and grammar, as a poet of 2 years and Author to two books, and a fighter in muay thai for an equal length of time, with around a dozen recorded fights.
- I'm fixated on rock music at the moment but generally have a varied playlist.
- University served as a means to expand my hungering mind, and escape the mob mentality consistent in friends from back "home"

VICE PRESIDENT - DEMPSEY GRINION

Heya, I’m Gem, I’m a Criminology Student here at NTU. I hope with this society you find a place where you can relate to others having a similar university experience to you!

Fun facts about me:
-I’ve worked full time along side my degree and am now the manager of a pub 
-I have a wide music taste, it’s usual for my playlists to go from Taylor Swift, to Nickelback and then to musical theatre 
-I love to paint and go to concerts 
-I really struggled settling in at university and often I do feel out of place here, it is NORMAL

I am a Care Leaver Student.
