Austin O’Brien is an Irish jazz singer whose deep voice, narrative sensibility, and commanding stage presence position him as a rising figure in the international vocal jazz scene. Moving fluidly between Paris, New York, and Dublin, he blends the elegance of swing, the poetry of songwriting, and the embodied energy of a true showman.
Between 2024 and 2025, Austin undertook an ambitious international recording project, completing three albums at the legendary Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, USA. These recordings were made under the technical direction of Maureen Sickler, with musical guidance from Don Sickler. Fully mixed, mastered, and 100% owned by the artist, these albums form a solid foundation for long-term artistic development.
A 4th album is currently in production at the same studio, featuring New York–based musicians and ongoing discussions with several internationally renowned artists.
