Demo Video (2023-24)

For the digitalisation of the Monash Innovation Lab (MIL) building, my task was to create the full stack for the smart cameras system. 

The project started as my FYP while I was an undergraduate student which involved the development of the Machine Learning and Computer Vision Algorithms for Human Pose Estimation and Action Recognition. 

After I graduated from Monash, I was employed as a Research Officer to scale and deploy the system within the Monash Innovation Lab building.

This then led to the development and implementation of;
- MQTT Server to handle the Text Data
- RTSP Media Server to handle the Video Feed
- Django Server to handle the back-end calculations from multiple camera nodes and to send command to the front-end
- React.js Server for the front-end

This project involved the development of a computer vision system installed on cars to look at compliance issues with construction sites. It was mainly myself and one other guy working on the project. My project partner led the AI and machine learning development, while I handled the remaining technology stack, including hardware integration and system testing.

For this project, I implemented;
- MySQL database
- Django as a media server and the front-end
