Eduardo, the lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of Los Imigrantes, was born and raised in Curitiba, Brazil. His musical journey began at a young age with the guitar, and he later expanded his repertoire to include the ukulele and a variety of string instruments. Eduardo spent most of his 20s in the vibrant cultural melting pot of New York City, where he met Pedro. Pedro, the bass player of the duo, hails from Mexico City. Like Eduardo, he also lived in NYC for several years, where they bonded over their worldview as immigrants and their deep passion for music and creative expression. Their connection grew stronger during many tequila-fueled conversations about living in NYC and missing the culture from their homelands, which often led to spontaneous musical sessions of rapping, telling jokes, writing songs, and exploring diverse musical genres.
