Donate to Help Mahmoud Abu Motair and his Family in Gaza
This is a fundraiser for my friend Mahmoud, who is currently living in a tent with his wife Hanan and twin children Asad and Joody in Al-Mawasi. He has become a dear friend in the past nine months, we check in every day, share pictures from our lives, and he tells me what life on the ground in Gaza is like. In this time I have come to care about him very much, I get so happy when he has a win - when he helped start a medical tent, or when he and his children got to go to the seaside, or when they got a bag of flour and were finally able to cook and eat delicious bread. He recenty told me that he borrowed a computer and is starting to work on his PhD dissertation again. I worry about him and his family every day, and imagine a day when his family can come visit and we can all eat food together. Please help them survive by making either a one-time donation, or signing up as a monthly sustainer.
