We have an office located in First Congregational Church. The best way to reach us is by parking in the Blythe St. lot behind the church. Then, look for a blue door with our sign "Disability Connection Midsouth" above it.

What services do you offer?

We work with you towards your goal of living independently as a person with a disability. Whether it's answering a question, providing training on a specific topic, or offering our peer groups, we are here for you.

We offer advocacy, independent living skills training, information and referral, peer support and mentoring, and transition services. For questions on any of these topics or if you have something specific in mind and wonder if we offer it, call us at 901-726-6404.

What is a center for independent living?

A center for independent living, or CIL, is a nonprofit organization managed and staffed by people with disabilities that serve people with disabilities. We want to work with you towards YOUR goals of independence.

There are hundreds of CILs across the United States. We have been Center for Independent Living in Memphis since 1985.
