On November 16, 1972, the first US police killing of an unarmed Black man was captured on camera at HBCU Southern University campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he was killed by a sheriff in an unexplainable act of law enforcement aggression as a bystander during a student peaceful protest. Architect, Denver Terrence explains what took place that day and how it affected his family and why he was named after the victim.
