De Pit, the initiative in which students prepare and sell plant-based lunches in the Educatorium restaurant, had its first trial day last Thursday. It was a rehearsal before their official opening on Tuesday, 3 February.

Studenten openen op 3 februari eetkraam De Pit in het Educatorium van de Universiteit Utrecht. Studenten en medewerkers kunnen van dinsdag tot en met vrijdag bij de eetkraam âbetaalbare, vullende en plantaardigeâ lunchmaaltijden kopen.

Het Educatorium, aan de Leuvenlaan 19 op het Science Park, is een eetkraam rijker. Vanaf drie februari opent De Pit, opgezet door studenten die op de Uithof geen betaalbare, vullende lunch konden vinden. Met deze nieuwe kraam willen ze daar verandering in brengen.
