The Center for Interdisciplinary Writing and Research hosted the Virtual Undergraduate Research Conference (VURC), where I presented this poster. I highlight the need to explore whether "-fishing" behaviors are for attention or acceptance.

The online survey did not overtly define "minority" and the percentage of participants that identify as such does not match the racial/ethnic percentages of participants. This made it nearly impossible to identify what group "-fishes" more.

For this poster presentation, I provided a breakdown of what photo alterations social media users are more likely to utilize and compared them to the prevalence of "-fishing"-related photo editing.
