Monthly pop ups from the Brighton International Animation Festival showcasing a variety of animation programmes, come down and catch up on any festival programmes you may have missed. This month especially International Womens Day is The Female Gaze (from 2025). This programme presents a selection of films either presenting the female experience or the world through the eyes of a female director. Including documentary, narrative and experimental from countries including Saudi Arabia, India and UK. Full pdf programme list here Tickets are pay what you can suggested donation £5 and all proceeds go towards running the annual festival. On the day tickets £6. Upstairs at Presuming Eds, doors open 7pm, films start 7.30pm. Come downstairs and have a drink and chat about the films afterwards. Twister life drawing tickets
Twister Life Drawing is back by popular demand - a new endeavour in life drawing in Brighton. Two models will take the mat for us whilst we spin the spinner resulting in various impeccable poses to be drawn. These will be mostly short dynamic poses and is about capturing the shapes and motion as opposed to long anatomy based traditional life drawing classes. The models will be clothed.
