I created BT22 because my husband and I couldn’t keep fighting this battle alone. Because everything we’ve lived through- every gap, every setback, every collapse- shouldn’t happen to any other veteran or family.

BT22 is my way of building what we desperately needed.
If we had these supports earlier, our life would look completely different.
No family should have to survive what we did, or worse.

I’m starting this while we are still in the fight.
Still waiting for stability.
Still living in our van until we can finally get our permanent home.

And I’m starting BT22 without VA or government funding
because our advocacy must always be honest, fearless, and independent.
We need to be able to say the quiet parts out loud without worrying who we’ll upset.

So this will start small and slow:
Just me, writing, sharing, mapping gaps, and building the community piece by piece.
