Me and Michelle wanted to look our best at our company dinner, so I browsed thru "Hair styles for Bridal and Dinner" on the net and found ALENA Makeup. We were thankful to have Vivian and Shirley... they were quick to get the ideas (styles) we preferred, and the results were amazing!
We got a lot of compliments that night.

Points to note:
After you have selected your outfit, think of a suitable hairstyle for the complete look.
When you meet the stylist without having an idea of what you want, it's gonna be lots of hair pulling and time wasted.

Bring your own lipsticks... 2-3 tones.
It's more hygienic, and the stylist can better decide on a colour theme based on the lipstick tone you chose.

Go with clean and dry hair.
It is extremely difficult for them to style your hair if it's oily.

Alena was simply fantastic! I don't wear make-up or know about make-up, and haven't had good experiences with make-up either. Alena made me look so pretty on my big day, and the make-up and hairdo lasted pretty long despite my movements and rushing and all! I loved both looks and received many, many compliments on them too ❤️ Not thick and heavy feeling, plus the way she prepared the false lashes made them feel really comfortable and more natural. I was a bit concerned about the falsies at first as my friends were all commenting about how uncomfortable they could be, but they turned out to be quite natural-feeling. The long-ish make-up and hairdo sessions were pretty fun too as we had long conversations on various stuff. They ended up passing by so quickly.

Definitely would recommend Alena to anyone looking for a HMUA for any occasion for her professionalism, ability, warmth, and friendliness ❤️
