Ynigma was born in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and grew up in King William's Town (Qonce). From a young age she was noticed for her drama, and poetry skills. At 18, when she came to Cape Town, she entered the music industry and started to appear in radio shows and magazine front covers. Member of musical formations, Ynigma has been standing out, in live performance, cyphers, demonstrating her capacity to be pursuing a solo career, be a complete standalone artist. She has leant, been exposed, and matured. She in now preparing an EP and has opened the way with a first single release named “Haibo”. For this EP, Ynigma has taken some time away from the front scene, scraped previous concepts, and started to build fresh, surrounding by people she has selected amongst the one she has met on her journey. The EP called “In My Feels” is the result of Ynigma’s introspection, reflection on her past experience, and present feelings, sharing her mood and emotion.
