AFG Base Supports are linchpins in the success of the Air Force's largest MWR program. As a Base Support (Game Manager), you will be called upon to develop and interact with your game's community in order to prepare them for tournaments both on-base and abroad during PTDY opportunities. Game Managers will make an effort to grow their respective communities, working in Discord to address and meet their community's needs. A GM will need to maintain a moderate-to-high level of knowledge both about their game and how to format tournaments for that game, either online or locally in-person. GMs will work with local Base Ambassadors in determining which communities are ready for tournaments, securing event space for in-person events, and participating in larger base events or Department of the Air Force Gaming League (DAFGL) tournaments.
