Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil on October 28th, 1980, The Analyst (also known as DJ Tuka) began his journey as a DJ at the age of 13, deeply influenced by the sounds of Acid House, Hip House, Hardcore and early UK Jungle music. With a strong connection to underground bass culture, his style evolved naturally into Drum & Bass, where he developed a signature sound with rolling energy. In 2021, The Analyst released his debut EP "My Soul". In 2025, he launched Dark Tunnel Records, his own independent label focused on futuristic Drum & Bass. The label’s first release, the EP titled "Dark Tunnel EP", showcases his sonic identity and marks the beginning of a new creative chapter. As a DJ, producer, and label owner, The Analyst continues to explore the depths of DNB with refined technique and a forward-thinking sound, staying true to the genre’s roots while pushing it into new territories.
