Hey y'all! Welcome to Sweet Home Soaps! I'm Mandy and I'm the owner of this little soap shop in a small town called Maylene in Alabama. I have 6 children ranging in age from toddler to 21. I am also a Neonatal ICU nurse and have been for over 2 decades. I have always been crafty and enjoy cooking/baking, knitting, and photography. Soaping combines my love for baking (measuring things precisely, combining different additives, calculating percentages) and my artistic side (design and color theory). It turns out that I happen to be pretty good at it! My family, friends, and neighbors have enjoyed my efforts so far and honestly I have way more soap than we could ever use, so I decided to set up shop. After much pestering from friends and customers, I decided to give YouTube a try. It's a work in progress, lol!
