Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Carver Elementary on Tuesday, April 7th! You can sign up to volunteer through this form. What will we be doing? Carver VCU Spirit day will take place in the morning from 7:15 - 8:00am, where VCU volunteers will welcome Carver students dressed in Black & Gold. STEM day will take place later that day from 12pm - 3:30pm where VCU Student volunteers will be helping students work through the STEM stations and inspire Carver Students Dates: Tuesday April 7th Location: George Washington Carver Elementary School (1110 W Leigh St, Richmond, VA 23220) Dress Code: Please wear appropriate attire, you will be around children! What will we be doing? Carver Paint and Pizza is an Event for Carver students who have had attended school EVERY SINGLE DAY FROM March 2-26 this spring. VCU Student volunteers will be helping students work through the art stations, serve pizza, set up, and take down the event. Volunteers can sign up for a weekly volunteering by filling out this Google form. After volunteers complete the form, Rams Read will put you in contact with a teacher at Carver to volunteer with. Once you are assigned to a teacher, you will meet with them at the same time and day weekly. Any subsequent schedule adjustments can be worked out with the teacher directly.
