Alec Douglas is a Bay Area-born filmmaker inspired to pursue filmmaking from a love of watching movies in his childhood. His works, including Taking a Beating, Goin’ Up, and “My Darling, Look at Me!” have screened at festivals like WorldFest Houston, Culver City Film Fesyival and the Bay Area & Sacramento Shorts Film Festival, earning awards for Best Director, Best Editing, and more. A graduate of Expression College with a degree in Digital Film, Alec continues to craft grounded, emotionally resonant stories that capture the beauty and atmosphere under the California sun.
