itsNOON is a social technology - empowered by a digital technology - to practice a new distributed way of learning and working, where money is a tool to generate reciprocity. Originally founded offline in August 2003 in Brazil, itsNOON was born out of a community enterprise that created physical spaces where young people could explore their potential using digital tools, and nurture their potential as creative entrepreneurs; it became an initiative that helped to shape some public policies related to youth employment. Since 2009 it has run as a digital platform - www.itsnoon.net - as a way to take this approach to more people, leveraging the connective power of the internet to move away from a decentralised model that depends on physical space, to a distributed model, where the power to create a positive and supportive environment is in the hands of everyone on the network.

Decentralized Communities, Digital Wallet Platform and People Centered Design | Itsnoon is a digital framework to empower humans, decentralized finance, and community building. It has created online spaces for 2,8M+ people to generate local economic empowerment in communities, working with its own application NoonAPP and clients such as Auckland Council, Santander Bank, Globo TV Network, Nike, Telefonica Group, Sony Ericsson, and Telecom Italia. This is how we started and it is still a very inspiring video for what we do now.
