NUGW-UE 1122 is organizing to support graduate workers who have not completed the “Building a Community of Respect and Breaking Down Bias” training. We are sending this survey to get an accurate picture of how many workers have not completed the training. Names of respondents to Question One will not be shared outside of the NUGW Local Executive Board.

Over the summer Northwestern University administrator's abruptly slashed Advanced Student Quarters, effectively forcing more than 100 graduate students to immediately upend their lives and search for employment. With this in mind, we urge the administration to return to their stated mission “to support the academic success of all our graduate students” by making good faith efforts to expand interdisciplinary graduate assistantships, establish clear timelines regarding the allocation of funding, restore Advanced Student Quarters to their previous budget, and return to the precedent of extending banked quarters beyond the sixth year of funding.
