Founded in 2013, the film office began in order to better represent the region to incoming and potential film productions. At the start of 2019, the film office came under the umbrella of the Orange County Tourism Department. Our role is to act as a liaison for the film industry with the government agencies in Orange County. We’re also working with local talent, crew and businesses to establish an infrastructure in the county, setting up contacts within the municipalities and streamlining paperwork, so it’s easy for filmmakers to come here and do business.
