Supporting Girls' Education in Malawi | The Mamie Martin Fund was established in 1993 as a legacy to the work of Mamie Martin, a Scottish born educator who lived in Malawi with her husband, missionary Jack Martin. On seeing the lack of educational opportunities for young girls in Malawi, Mamie Martin established classes for girls, and women, to continue their education.
Today the Mamie Martin Fund is run by a dedicated team of Trustees, including grandchildren of Mamie and Jack, who continue to raise funds, engage schools, and monitor the progress of over 150 girls a year.
