Custom Quilts

I am able to make memory quilts with loved ones clothing. Please see the below for sizes, prices and the minimum of how many articles you will need to provide. Number of articles listed ranges from using each article only once in the quilt to an assumption of how many squares i can get from a full piece of clothing. I do not make T-shirt quilts.

Memory Quilts

Please see the below for sizes, prices and the minimum of how many articles you will need to provide. Any details near the neck, arms, or side seams may not be able to be featured. Any designs larger than 5 inches will be too large to feature the whole thing. When using this precious material I preserve as many cute details as possible and provide all remaining material to you with the finished quilt.

Baby Clothes Quilts

A handmade heirloom quilt is a luxury work of art, and comes at a higher cost which I understand is out of the price range of necessity purchases.

All quilts are 100% handmade. On average I charge $15 per hour of my time   for plus the cost of materials. When pricing a quilt I consider the complexity of the design, which directly impacts how much time will be required to make the quilt. 

I also consider the quality of the materials. High end designer fabrics with 100% cotton batting will cost more in materials than economy fabrics and a poly-cotton blend batting. 

Additionally, any quilts which use advanced sewing designs or are larger than a throw size quilt require the use of longarming services as I am unable to finish those quilts on my domestic machine. This requires travel, shipping, or rental costs to utilize these services. 

All of these factors are entered into a calculator i have made to determine cost.
