Entre aliados y depredadores: repensando las políticas de drogas desde el sur global
Este capítulo examina de forma crítica el impacto de las políticas de drogas globales,especialmente en el Sur Global, destacando la necesidad de reformas que respetenla soberanía, la diversidad cultural y los derechos humanos. Analiza el origen y lasconsecuencias de un enfoque prohibicionista, subrayando cómo este ha marginalizado acomunidades indígenas y exacerbado la violencia y la desigualdad. Además, se enfoca enel papel de las ONGs y agencias de cooperación, cuestionando si actúan como aliadoso perpetúan dinámicas neocoloniales. Proponemos un enfoque descolonizador para laspolíticas de drogas, basado en la participación comunitaria genuina, la transparencia y elrespeto por la autodeterminación.
