Hello and Welcome! Painting with Krisztina is my current ongoing series that offers in-depth painting instruction on the Mische Technique. The Mische Technique is a combination of oil and egg tempera (or casein) that renders an image out of highlight rather than shadow. It is an extremely unique and eccentric way of painting that has its roots in the Dutch Master's Renaissance technique as seen through the eyes of modern master, Ernst Fuchs. Fuchs is the artist who created the technique in the many ways it is painted with today, and it is through the transmission to his very early student, Brigid Marlin, that I teach you. This is a home for my past video art pieces, a series I did a few years back called Mythology Cafe, and my current project: Painting with Krisztina.
