Blog Post - The Power Of One Unexpected Hug
We don’t outgrow the need for a hug. Not as children, not as adults, and certainly not in grief.Hugs are one of the most human things we can offer each other. They go beyond words. I’m not a small talk kind of person. I love a deep conversation. I love to listen to your story. Deep conversation can make us feel uncomfortable because they touch some of deepest parts of our lives and we can feel vulnerable. Those real deep conversations open up the possibilities for being honest and vulnerable with each other. It’s powerful. Listen to hear not judge. We are here to learn. Once we know better we can do better. So yes, having a deep conversation with the right person is priceless. It lets you be you and them be them. 💛 Everyone has untold stories of pain and sadness that make them love and live a little differently than you do. We are not here to judge, we are here to listen, believe them as we try to understand. We all have a story and I wrote book about my story in hopes to give you space to share yours.
