<p>Julija Savić, a.k.a. <strong>Jules</strong>, is a Croatian-English writer and journalist, spoken-word performer and translator based in Zagreb.</p><p><br></p><p>She describes her life as equally artistic and linguistic. She works as a translator and journalist, currently working mostly with independent Croatian media, but is also poet, jewelry maker, art aficionado and a student of culture(s). With nearly a decade of performance experience behind her, she has developed a singular authorial voice that aims to evoke an emotional response in the audience.</p><p><br></p><p>She holds an MA in English Literature and Culture, and that education allows her to approach different art forms with an incisive eye, engage in deep reading, and discover the hidden layers within a work of art.</p>
