My current research interests involve both the investigation of quantum gravity from a "bottom-up" perspective, utilizing the semiclassical framework of quantum field theory in curved spacetime, as well as certain applications in quantum electrodynamics. I am particularly interested in the interplay between general relativistic and quantum effects, using extreme environments such as black holes and early universe cosmology as key theoretical laboratories.
