A Body Neutrality Dialogue and Dinner RSVP
Body neutrality is the idea that our worth and value is defined by more than our physical appearance. Body positivity is a step in the right direction on our path to body liberation, but we ask the question: why do we put value on being beautiful in the first place? Let's imagine a world where we can be more than just beautiful. Join us for an evening where we break down and discuss body neutrality. The night will start with dinner and two talks by Dr. Bernal & Kelly Kyutoku, followed by a Q&A session, then a support circle! This event will take place Wednesday March 4th from 5:30-7pm with the support circle at 7-8pm at Hattie Redmond Women and Gender Center and is limited to 40 participants, so be sure to sign up ASAP! All bodies and genders are welcome! This event is RSVP only, and the building will remain closed to the public during this closed event. Be sure to follow the link to secure your spot before registration fills!

We'll be meeting every odd week on Wednesdays 3-4pm in the HRWGC library. Our first book will be "Undrowned" by Alexis Pauline Gumbs! Books will be provided for everyone. We are limited to providing books for 7 people this time around, however you're still welcome to join our book club! What is AYA? AYA, our Women of Color Initiative strives to facilitate long-lasting and dynamic support for Women of Color including; body, spirit, and identity in the past, present, future, and fluid. We aim to facilitate interconnectedness within OSU and Corvallis communities, welcoming all people into spaces that allow learning, growth, and healing.
