"Between Worlds" by Sebastian Ebarb | News Details
January 18—March 16 Our 2025–26 Mudge Fellow is Sebastian Ebarb. His work explores the duality of creative practice—the distinction between working as an artist and as a designer. As an artist, he speaks freely, engaging with Native culture, personal history, and the stories he carries. As a designer, he navigates structure, client expectations, and the ethical considerations of working within and beyond his own communities. Through this exhibition, Ebarb invites viewers to reflect on how identity shifts depending on who is watching, what is required, and the responsibilities we hold—to ourselves, to culture, and to our audience.
