Born in east metro Atlanta, DNK grew up different than most in the aspects that he saw the world through different lenses from suburbia to the inner city lifestyle. Through his music he tells the story of the obstacles he’s overcome on this journey to where he is currently. Being diagnosed with an illness like bipolar can be detrimental for most but not for DNK. He’s used it as the motivational force to progress and prosper in all things. DNK makes music for almost any genre and uses unique melodies to convey concepts that many can relate too. “Being bipolar you experience emotions at the most extreme ends of each spectrum.
