If your pet was recently diagnosed with IVDD, a neurological disorder, a spinal injury, or has any other kind of disability, you are not alone! Hi, I'm Dagmar! My soul dog, Tyrion, became paralyzed out of nowhere in March 2024. He was a healthy six-year-old and there were no warning signs. I got Tyrion as an 8-week-old puppy when I was just 20 years old. As far as my twenties go, he's been the only constant -- by my side through every move, breakup, accomplishment, and mistake. Life looks a little different now that he's paralyzed, but he's still the same happy, energetic, playful boy he's always been. We share our journey to celebrate disabled animals and their loving owners! It's not always easy, but it's always worth it. We also hope to educate pet owners on what to do and what to expect should your animal ever lose mobility. I was TERRIFIED at first, but with the right knowledge and tools, anyone can learn to adjust and adapt.
