Welcome to the Brighton Festival Chorus' You Tube channel. BFC was founded for the 1968 Brighton Festival by our first Music Director, László Heltay. Walton's Belshazzar's Feast, with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by the composer himself, brought overnight success. Today under our Music Director James Morgan, we are one of the most sought-after choirs in the UK. We work with the most exciting conductors, including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Edward Gardner, and Roderick Cox, and with the world’s leading orchestras including the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. We have performed with the finest soloists and supported artists such as Armstrong & Miller, Katherine Jenkins, Dame Edna Everage, Pete Townshend, Queen, Chris de Burgh and Alfie Boe. We work on new commissions and film soundtrack performances like Eisensten’s Alexander Nevsky and Olivier’s Henry V.
