Produced by Ed Buller (Suede, Pulp, Psychedelic Furs) we are a resurrected new wave group that originated in the unheralded ‘80s Arizona music scene. "B.E." played alongside local legends like Gin Blossoms, Gentlemen Afterdark and IRS recording artists, Caterwaul and opened for post-punk touring acts like Bolshoi and Gene Loves Jezebel… all while maintaining an average age of just 17-years old. Today, after a 30-year hiatus pursuing independent careers as a professional sculptor, a TV producer, a video-game attorney, a real-estate agent and a graphic artist, Basic Elements reunited in Los Angeles to record the songs we wrote as teenagers in the ‘80s with one of our new wave idols. The result is a mainline hit of pure, uncut 1985. In a time where contemporary artists strive for that '80s sound, Basic Elements is the real deal. Written then. Recorded today. Ready for right now.
