The Alabama Arab Literary Society (AALS) is forming its founding circle in Huntsville, Alabama. AALS is a sacred and structured literary space dedicated to Arabic storytelling, immigrant and first-generation narratives, and the evolution of Trans-Arabic thought within the American South. We gather once per month for a two-hour workshop centered on craft, reflection, and shared writing. This is an invitation-based founding cohort (8–12 members). If you feel called to write, preserve family stories, or deepen your relationship with Arabic language and imagination - we welcome your application.
