AIKnU Project
AIKnU is a research project exploring the potential of AI-powered conversational agents to enhance person-centered care (PCC) in Primary Care. By leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP), AIKnU aims to test how AI can streamline consultations by summarizing patient needs before their visit, reducing bias and cognitive load for healthcare professionals. This pre-consultation interaction seeks to empower patients, improve communication, and facilitate decision-making, fostering more efficient, empathetic, and dignified care.
Developed within the collaboration of Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili (PSPV) and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), AIKnU is being researched through their respective groups, APICBA and GREMSAS.
