The film opens with visuals of luxury in a posh house where a man receives a mysterious call. He is soon revealed to be a writer of thrillers that pivot on murders and violence, and it is in this manner that the viewer is given a glimpse of the direction the narrative is headed towards. It is further marked by skilled camerawork that exhibits potential, leaving the door open for more such products by the team. When a writer of gore and violence finds himself in a tight spot with a strange man who claims to be a journalist, can anything good truly come out of it? Though the accent of the actors prove to be slightly distracting, the film, which also brings in concerns of mental health to enhance its attempts by means of an added layer, remains a devoted endeavour to weave an engaging story.
